CANON CHARACTER TEMPLATE:
Name:Elena Gilbert
Species: Human
RP Sample:Elena was driving down the road but her mind seemed to be elsewhere lately. Her friend Bonnie had tried to cheer her up by inviting her over and having a kind of slumber party like they used to when they were girls. However it was different as now they were young ladies and not the cute little girls with pig tails of years past. Granted she had not known Bonnie as long as Matt but….
Matt, I’m so sorry that I hurt you. I only hope someday that you will understand. Oh who am I kidding? You will never understand. Even I don’t know what has happened to me lately. If I left Mystic Falls would anyone really miss me? Come on now Elena, stop feeling sorry for yourself. This is just something that you are going to have to work through. You have to move on with your life and just accept that…
Her thoughts were interrupted as something came flying at her windshield causing her to veer off the road. Losing control she let out a scream as she saw herself heading toward a tree. Hitting the brakes as hard as she could and shielding herself she prepared for the impact. She could almost feel her life flashing before her and if she died she would deserve it for not being focused while driving. Fortunately the brakes performed their function well and the crash was not that harsh. Opening her eyes she saw the cracks in the windshield and let out a sigh. Taking her hand she placed it to her forehead and when she brought it back could see blood on her fingers. After a few moments she managed to climb out of the car and stood back and looked at it.
“Well at least I’m alive,” she replied with a sigh. “Which is more then I can say for the car. Guess I had better call Aunt Judith and get this over with.” Pulling out her cell she glanced at the cracked screen which said “no service” and shook her head. “Why am I not surprised? So, here I am out in the middle of nowhere with a crashed car and no way to reach anyone. Well, I guess I had better start walking and see if I can find someone to help a damsel in distress.” She paused. “Where am I anyway?”
Moving away from the car she started walking down the road and after some time came upon a driveway. Not even thinking twice she headed up it and passed some trees until she saw a sign. Stopping she tilted her head. “Salvatore Boarding House? Are you kidding me?”
Like those in Mystic Falls she knew the stories about this place. Rumors of shadows amongst the trees and in some cases people mysteriously disappearing without a trace. And even though she really did not believe them it was an entirely different situation when you were actually walking toward that very place with only the moon to light your way. Right now this whole situation was like a scene from a horror movie.
Oh that’s a great thought. Come on, Elena you have to try and get some help and there is no else around here. Besides all those stories were probably just made up anyway.
She jumped as she heard some kind of rustle behind her and then taking a deep breath continued walking up toward the house. Glancing over she saw a car which indicated that someone was indeed home. Now all she had to do was ask to use their phone and she would be on her way. Reaching the front door she hesitated for a moment and then knocked.
